So don’t imagine climbing your plant up a support.

Plant an ivy geranium:

In pot or container you can plant as early as March in your planters, but you’ll have to tuck them in if it’s freezing.

For your garden Hold on. late April to put them in the ground and bring a special geranium potting soil to your soil.

  • Keep a distance of 30 cm between each plant.

Multiplication of geranium ivy :

This plant multiplies easily by cuttings or by sheltered seeding .
Cutting work will begin at the end of the summer by taking cuttings from the mother plants.

For varieties that can multiply by sowing, this will have to be done as early as February.

Size of the geranium ivy

Remove wilted flowers as they appear, this encourages new flowers to appear.

At the end of the season, you can prune shorter in order to balance the antlers and the silhouette of the geranium ivy.

  • Prune your ivy geraniums 2/3 of their length.
  • Place them in a frost-free place and reduce the watering.
  • In winter, one watering per month is sufficient
