Bulgur stuffed peppers


Here’s a simple, fresh and balanced recipe that’s not lacking in colour and flavour.

To be enjoyed in the summer to accompany a grilled chicken or a fish such as salmon. you will appreciate the crunchiness of the bulgur contrasting with the sweetness of the pepper.

Ingredients for 4 people :

4 peppers not too big 250g of fine bulgur 1  zucchini 1 beautiful onion 1 clove of garlic A few strands of parsley flat Olive oil Salt, pepper

Recipe of peppers stuffed with bulgur

Begin by cutting off the cap of each pepper, remove all the seeds and wash them.

Heat a large pot of salted water and cook the bulgur in it. Peel and finely chop onion Peel and remove the garlic germ and chop it finely. Chop the parsley Cut the courgette into small cubes

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan,

Sauté the diced zucchini for 2 to 3 minutes over high heat. Add the chopped onions and chopped garlic. Remove from the heat once the vegetables are golden brown.

Preheat your oven to 180°,

Mix the bulgur with the vegetables Garnish each pepper with the mixture of bulgur, zucchini, tomatoes, onion, parsley and garlic. Close each pepper with its cap. Bake for 15 min

This recipe of bell pepper stuffed with bulgur can be eaten both hot and warm.
